Try an AI astrologer for five minutes

Ask for your lagna and Moon sign. Check your running dasha too, the period used to read timing. Compare these with a calculator. A reading needs the right chart to begin with.

Then ask for something it should decline, such as an exact date of death. A careful app will refuse. Ask it to explain an answer too. It should be able to point to a placement in your chart.

AI app or a general chatbot

A general chatbot can explain astrology well. It may also give planet positions from memory. A dedicated app should first use an ephemeris, a table of planet positions, to calculate your chart. Ask how it works out your reading.

What these apps charge

Prices differ more than features. Check the follow-up cost and whether unused credits expire. If you subscribe, see whether it renews by itself. The table gives what could be checked on each app's own pages.

Where Bansi fits

  • You want your chart calculated by rules before AI explains the results.
  • You want every question to cost ₹10, including each follow-up.

Where Bansi falls short

  • You prefer an app with more users and reviews. Several here have far more than Bansi.
  • Other AI apps also say they calculate charts. Check this with each app, including Bansi.
  • You need an iPhone app. Bansi does not have one yet.

How we chose

We started from apps that appeared in Google Play and Google search for these terms in India, kept those we could check on their own site or listing, and sorted by Play installs. Nobody paid to appear. We leave out apps we could not verify, and we give no scores because we did not test every app the same way.

Common questions

Is AI astrology accurate?

AI astrology can calculate a chart precisely, but its predictions cannot be proved. Use the reading as guidance. Ask how it reached the answer before giving it weight in a decision.

Can ChatGPT read my birth chart?

ChatGPT can explain a birth chart you give it. Check any planet positions it gives on its own against an ephemeris, a table of planet positions. Use a calculator for the exact positions first.

Is there a free AI astrologer?

Most AI astrology apps let you try them free. Melooha lists a first free question. Bansi gives 3 free questions, then charges ₹10 for each question.
