1.Who we are

Bansi Astro is operated by Tridev ("Bansi", "we", "us"). "You" means the person using the app.

2.Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Bansi Astro, and at least 18 to make a purchase. If you are under 18, use it with a parent or guardian's involvement.
• You sign in with a phone number or email address. Keep access to it secure. Anyone who can receive your verification code can reach your readings.
• One account is for one person. Do not share credentials or resell access.
• If you enter another person's birth details, you confirm you have their agreement to do so. For a child, you confirm you are their parent or guardian.

3.What Bansi Astro is, and what it is not

Bansi Astro computes and interprets a Vedic and KP astrological reading and expresses it in plain language. It is offered for reflection, perspective and personal interest.

It is not professional advice. Nothing it says is medical, psychological, legal, financial, tax or investment advice, and it must not be treated as a substitute for a qualified professional. Decisions about your health, your money, your legal position or your safety are yours, and you should take proper advice on them.

We make no claim that a reading predicts what will happen. We deliberately publish no accuracy figure, because none can be honestly supported, and you should be sceptical of any app that publishes one.

If you are in crisis or at risk of harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline. The app will point you to support rather than answer, and that is by design.

4.Readings, purchases and refunds

• Free to try. Your first reading is free. After that, a reading costs ₹49 from your in-app balance.
• Recharge through the app. You recharge your balance through the App Store or Google Play. Your first recharge receives double the balance. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal.
• Free follow-up questions are included. Some follow-up questions within a paid reading are included at no extra charge.
• Your in-app balance has no cash value. The balance is a licence to use the service, is not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Prices can change. A change never reduces the balance you have already bought.
• Refunds are handled by the stores. Purchases are processed by Apple and by Google under their own terms, with RevenueCat managing entitlements. Refund requests go to Apple or Google, not to us. Where the law gives you a statutory right to cancel, that right stands regardless.
• If we are at fault, we will fix it. If your balance is charged and no reading is returned because of a defect on our side, write to samanyou@bansi.ai and we will restore it.

5.Acceptable use

Do not do any of the following with the app.

• Use it to harass, stalk, defraud, or make decisions about another person without their knowledge, for instance running a chart on a job candidate, an employee, or a prospective spouse who has not agreed to it.
• Present its output as a professional consultation, or resell readings as your own service.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying engine, its rule set or its research.
• Attack the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or attempt to circumvent balance limits, rate limits or the payment system.
• Upload unlawful content, or use the app in a way that breaks the law where you are.

6.Your content and your data

Your birth details and your questions remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to compute a reading, to return it to you, and to store it so you can read it again.

How that data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Readings we generate are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share your own readings freely.

7.Our intellectual property

The app, the astrological engine, the research and doctrine behind it, the interface, the Bansi name and the logo are ours or our licensors'. Using the app gives you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use it as intended, and nothing more.

The app is built on the Swiss Ephemeris and other third-party components, each used under its own licence.

8.Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may update the app.

If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and will honour unspent balance by refund or equivalent value where the law requires it.

9.Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We are not liable for any decision you take on the basis of a reading, or for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹5,000.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

10.Suspension and termination

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from Settings › Privacy.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks section 5, that is being used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why first.

Sections 7, 9 and 12 survive termination.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.

12.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or of the right to bring proceedings there.

Before going to court, please write to samanyou@bansi.ai. Most things are settled that way.
